Long ago, certain individuals were entrusted with the Omega Mark, a sacred emblem imbued with immense power. These chosen beings were tasked with preserving the balance of the world, acting as protectors and guardians of harmony. Only one individual at a time could bear the mark, which was passed down from generation to generation to ensure the continuity of its legacy.

The Omega Mark granted its bearer extraordinary power, endowing them with abilities far beyond mortal limits. Additionally, the wisdom and experiences of previous generations were passed on to each new bearer. However, mastering the power of the mark was no easy feat. Most new bearers struggled to fully harness its potential, requiring years of training and trials to unlock its true capabilities.

Unfortunately, this power—once devoted to the welfare and preservation of its world—was tragically corrupted, twisted, and perverted by malevolent forces. The balance it was meant to uphold was plunged into chaos. The emblem, once sacred, became a source of destruction, threatening the very world it was created to protect. In a desperate battle, the corrupted bearer of the mark was defeated, but the cost was immense. To prevent such a catastrophe from happening again, it was decided that the Omega Mark would be sealed away in a place inaccessible to mortals: the Omega Ruins.

These ruins, infused with the residual energy of the mark, became a reflection of its essence. Ancient glyphs and shifting lights danced upon the stone walls, creating a labyrinth imbued with the mark’s own will. Rather than waiting for a pure or virtuous soul, this power makes no distinction: it simply seeks its next bearer. Whether innocent or not, the mark risks corrupting the mind of whoever inherits it, potentially planting the seeds of the next chaos.

The Omega Mark and its power are not of this world. They originate from a distant, forgotten dimension, severed from its source long ago. The ruins exist as a nexus between realities, connected to a fragment of a world that no longer exists. Recently, however, the dimensional barrier isolating the Omega Ruins has weakened. Fragments of lost dimensions, yearning to reunite with their origins, have begun converging across Elvium, reopening passages to the Omega Ruins among others.
