Okay, so this is a comic I made of my mole woman character, who I named Goldendove, crossing over to the world and time period of Earthbound Beginnings to meet Teddy. This is a continuation of a theme of comics or single images I have been making where this character goes around to comfort other characters. The most recent art of that was with the Sonic X version of Tails at https://inkbunny.net/s/3414327 and also dramatized into a short fanfiction. Said fanfiction is from the point of view of Tails and posted at https://inkbunny.net/s/3420154 on this site. I also drew her hugging Taranza at https://inkbunny.net/s/3341782 on this site. What? I don't like ending sentences with links. Anyway, as I thought it would be cute, my mole character starts off not introducing herself, but by singing the lyrics to Pollyanna (I Believe in You) and having Teddy join in a duet. I thought it would be funny if he knew a song from the game he appeared in. I also have him describe things from the plot of his game, with one panel showing a view of that game's Magicant as I felt the generic Ellay building background. Yeah, I did copy some colors from the Earthbound Beginnings map. I suppose my most recent art of Goldendove outside of this posted to here was https://inkbunny.net/s/3462597 and I posted that in 2024. Panel 1: *Knock Knock * Panel 2: ♪I believe the morning sun♪ Panel 3: ♪Always gonna shine again, and♪ Panel 4: ♪I believe a pot of gold♪ ♪Waits at every rainbow's end♪ Panel 5: Mole: ♪𝄞Oh. I believe in roses kissed with dew...♪ Teddy: Huh? ♪𝄢 Why shouldn't I believe the same in you?♪ Panel 6: [A few minutes of duet later...] Both: ♪...And that's why I believe in you.♪ Panel 7: Teddy: That was you singing behind there? Mole: Yes Teddy: I expected someone taller. You look like you could be a kid in a costume, But you sing like a dame. Panel 8: Teddy: You're not one of those mountain monsters, are you? Mole: No, and I come in peace. Teddy: Figures, that is what that sign on your coat means. Mole: Actually, it means nuclear disarmament. Panel 9: Teddy: You remind me of the place that kid Ninten brought me to, but he said it vanished soon after that robot attacked us. I was lucky to make it out of there alive. Mole: What happened? Teddy: I was out cold, but Ninten told me after I recovered the monsters were being led by this alien, & he drove the alien away with a song. Kinda brings a tear to your eye, that a lullaby saved the Earth. Panel 10: Teddy: Don't tell me you're actually crying? I... what happened to your other eye? Mole: I, too, have had a rough life. It is my understanding you are an orphan. Teddy: What... Where did you... What even ARE you anyway? Mole: The only mother I have left is Mother Earth. And so I am a wandering mole. Teddy: Wait, did you come here looking for me? Mole: Yes Panel 11: Mole: I look for people with troubled hearts and seek to comfort them in their grief. Teddy: And how exactly do you plan to do that? Mole: Come closer. Panel 12: Teddy: This better not be some kind of prank, missy. Panel 13: <They hug> Teddy: You came all this way just to give me a hug? How sweet? A bit childish, but sweet. Mole: Should I have just greeted you with open arms first? Panel 14: Teddy: Just be careful out there. Not everyone is gonna accept a hug from a strange little creature like you.
