When things start to heat up, our boy over on the left goes pretty hard. He's intense, and was keeping up score during some rough matches. Things were starting to look shaky, but that's when he made the command decision to grab the old, empty bag of chips, where he handled the situation. A bit hasty on setting it down, but that's focus for you.
Then, in the middle, we got our most competent guy. We all know he's the best one, and team synergy remained near peak for most of the night. While the other guys managed incoming threats, he dragged the ice cooler closer and set out the last two sodas, took the top off and straddled the open container for the rest of the night. He was set after that, though he did start to wearily remark on how his butt was getting colder as the night went on.
Our guy on the right is new, and he's working his way up to the big boys. Despite the admittedly off-kilter k/d ratio, he picks up on things quick and has shown a knack for adaptation. Most demonstrated by balancing on top of a Big Cup drink. The risk paid off during the matches, getting a decent amount inside the cup, and kept balance until it slid out from underneath closer to the morning.
All in all, it was a good party. The best part is that the venue didn't say anything about the filled bottles or any stains or whatever, so it'll probably be fine when we go back and do it again in a week or two.
