Nothing terribly exciting here, although I am quite happy with that shrugging Crane*. Finally at a point where I'm feeling good about his design.

The goth unicorn was an idea that amused me greatly, I might have to fix her up and adopt her out if anybody is interested/I can ever get my shite together (yeah, that's real likely).

I'm starting to enjoy pencil sketching again, so perhaps we'll see more of this at a later date.

*If anyone was wondering, in my world, naming one's child after a bird has deep and varied cultural significance. Birds remained wild, never changing their bodies nor integrating into society with the rest of the animals (though there are some exceptions), and so they hold a sort of mystique for most people. To get a little more granular with this, each bird's name possesses its own special meaning which varies somewhat between regional cultures-- there are some overlaps, ie people who live in one biome or another seeing different birds altogether but ascribing similar meanings to some of their names and symbolisms.

Ooh, these are all lovely. I particularly like the dancing rabbit, and especially the way her hair and ears add to the movement of the dance. The first dragon is pretty spiffy, too and I do like how their muzzle is somewhat reminiscent of a dodo's beak. The bun in the third image looks pretty spiffy, too. You can just imagine them being off on some grand adventure and their pose and expression make them look a bit sly and rake-ish, but in an interesting way. And the goth unicorn is very cool. Whether you decide to adopt her out or not, I'd love to see the picture polished up sometime. Or see more of her generally.

The little note on naming conventions is very nice, too. It's a fun little bit of world-building, and definitely adds a little more weight to those names as well. Thanks for sharing!

Thank ya!! I was pretty happy with the dancing bun myself, I've really been trying to put more motion into my drawings lately.
The big ol' beak on sketch #2 was just a random whim, but I thought it gave him or her a slightly doofy and perhaps endearing quality.
#3 is a design I've been trying to nail down for ages, and it's still not there yet.. but hopefully soon! He's supposed to be kind of an overconfident jock bastard who gets on everyone's nerves, with aforementioned jock bastard-ness being a cover for his softer side.
Gothicorn is growing on me as well, we may see more of her yet. Haha

and thank you!! I feel like most people are just here for the tits 'n bits so it's nice to know that some people actually read my worldbuilding stuff too :'>
