And my second part of our art/story trade from earlier last year.
Comparing this one to the sheep and wolf scene from almost a half a year ago, I expected a bit more of a challenge, but I guess DikranO wanted me to simply flesh out his new characters.
... I need to practice more human male faces though, I'm not entirely satisfied with how I've drawn Ryan... serves me right for drawing "scenes" where most human male characters heads are obscured or off-panel x'D
If I would have to guess the source of the facial discomfort, it would be because Ryan has big anime eyes, but a more realistic, grizzled, detailed face. So it just kinda ends up in the "uncanny valley" where his eye-balls are too big for his head, I imagine. Edit: Although, i think if you were to shift his facial features "up" a bit, it might reduce some of that issue?

That probably is the case, I got little experience with properly drawing human male faces due to having zero male human OCs. I failed to take notice of this, as I do draw eyes on my human girls just like this and my mind never did register anything off, when I worked on them in the past. If that is the case, then it might be a good time to review my human drawings and do some concept work on a style update.

That's alright, we can't watch every movie ever made. That would take a lifetime.
I recommend watching the Director's Cut or the Theatrical Cut, if you can find it. The Final Cut I don't recommend because they added computer effects that feel out of place in a movie from 1982.
