He didn't really get this silly name until his last appearances. This is Dark Punchy, one of 10 "Darks" that resulted from the experiments of Bucky the Rat. He's an evil bastard with terrible dark power.
I mostly created him to prove I could do better than just a flat-out recolor. (Punchy is just a green Knuckles, but that's purposeful; he's a clone, and the first of the 20 Experiment characters)
Dark Punchy's body was destroyed, but his soul simply returns to regular Punchy, lying dormant within him...
Anyway, the ai did surprisingly well on him. I include my own picture for reference/comparison, anyway.
(...funny, I keep thinking that he's supposed to have green on his quills, but I look at the pic of him & then realize it's just "eyeliner" that is the green on his head... Oh, well.)
