yeesh, you're doing a great disservice to the literary world. try to tell e.g. mary shelley or margaret atwood that "no, actually, the curtains aren't blue because they symbolize sadness, they're just blue". they'd be embarrassed anyone thought there wasn't much more going on beneath their surface in their novels.

Zummeng, that's exactly how I write. I have thousands of little scenes, brief paragraphs, observations, character descriptions, but if they don't have a story, they don't have a story. If they do have a story, it flows like water from a tap... sometimes a broken tap that can't be turned off.
Now, if I could just get greedy enough to try to get published.... might make money from all this bullshit.
