So I'm like... ridiculously happy with this. Not because it came out good, per se, but because I tried a bunch of different things with it, all of which seemed to work out. First, I used a smaller plastic grid-thing; this is 2/3 the size it would have normally been (I had to split the yarn in half to get it all to fit x3). Second, there's no colored border on this one; all the others have a separate color as a border. Third, I didn't try to make the "ink" lines as stitches, but added them afterward.
