hey there! so something I've had issues in the past with was capturing an exact age range for each character. however i feel i finally cracked the code recently. to summarize, if you know the heads rule for anatomy this applies. infants start out with a BIG head. with the rest of their body for the most part being totaling the size of that massive cranium. by two, *the stretchening* has begun. their body stretches for the torso, full leg length, and arm length each equaling the length of the head. then things grow unevenly. by 5, the legs have stretched out so that each part is as long as the head, then by 8, the torso catches up, growing as long as two heads. once the age of 13 is reached, a disproportionate growth spurt on the lower legs starts, with the upper leg catching up by 16. i chose not to depict growth beyond 20 because it really stabilizes for a while before the form starts folding in on itself.
