To say that 2024 was a wild and crazy year where nothing and everything happened is an understatement. It's topping 2016 and 2020 even.
Personally, it's been a financially tight, but artistically creative year for me, more so at the last quarter of the year. The year started with gouache and oil pastels, and ended with a new love for acrylics that I haven't touched during the pandemic.
Having my first art exhibit, my brothers and nephew getting hospitalized (they're doing well), and my computer crashing on Christmas Eve, is motivating me to be a bit more serious with the business side of art.
Nevertheless, I thank God and my friends and family to push me a bit more to be creative, regardless on how slow I am. What matters is to be streadfast.
For 2025, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Pray we go safe and sound.
