Let's call this a what-if that got out of hand.

The intrusive thoughts won this morning, when my brain said, "what if Eli were a girl?". So I sketched up a quick design, then thought, "oh this pose is kinda fun. I should add some more detail." so I shaded it. Then I thought, "I bet someone will call this a jojo pose (which did happen). I should add Tower!". So I did.

And you know how it goes. You go from feeling proud of a shaded sketch, to thinking some color would really bring it to life, to aching to go all out until it's fully rendered. Fuck I love when that happens.

Anyway, I suppose there's no reason Eli can't just look like this. I mean he grows up to be a girl anyway, might as well get a headstart lol.

If Eli's soul is female, then it seems fitting to depict little Eli as female if you want. I think she's adorable and also looks formidable, with that summoned creature. Really good artwork.
