Every day feels longer than the last. But the minutes and hours never seem to last. The mind likes to hold onto the bad, but it hates to remember why it is sad. How do you make a home from a house.. Is it when you finally find a spouse? No, but yes, but maybe? Surely it will become a home once you have that baby.
I'll be honest mate, with every new post I see of this storyline. the less and less I like it. I get it's dark but it's just getting sadder. I can only imagine how depressing it's gonna be if they do actually have a baby.

I've considered that but neither of us knows how it will end. only soul does. So there's no way of knowing which side the coin will land on until we arrive.
There is a part of me that wants a happy ending but that's simply me, wanting what's best for the characters. so only time will tell. well, soul will, but you get the idea.

This is really sad because this is a loveless marriage, Collin doesn't love Keenie, he's in love with the idea he has/had of Keenie, but not with the real one, I bet he doesn't know anything about the real Keenie. About Keenie, she doesn't love Collin, she's just traumatized for the baptism Collin did to her, where he acted like all an inquisitor and broke her mentally, breaking the Law of God (the Old Testament mentions certain punishments for certain crimes, but it never mentions torture, and yes, an inquisitor is just a sinner who shields behind the name of the Lord), she was forced into a marriage where, I bet she never wanted, at least not this way, and she just became a toy, not sure about what she really wants, or who she is anymore. But I'm hoping she just snaps back to the reallity of who she is, puts Collin in his place, and that they establish if they can really have a loving marriage or must break their relationship, because both are in a low point, but they could go lower and end in hell, or go up and try to recover their sanctity.
Just to clarify, I'm not hating these posts, but it makes me curious about what will happen next.

I'm always tempted to pull punches with my story telling because I feel nobody wants anything but generic smut and wholesome. It's nice finding people who at least appreciate something different and/or can find something to like in less pleasant emotions.

relationship woes is like classic soap opera at least to me and if people can't handle light weight stuff like that then they live in a dream world lol

A fine time to rhyme for two to intertwine! A scared sinner and a holy harlot. Which one is which, it may depend on what sin one sees as more scarlet. Pulled punches or ones that cause a sore, good can even come from the bad if we acknowledge the truth of our core.

Yeah I think we all want Keenie to catch a break, but that's just empathy and a sign of good story telling. If that's not Keenie's story than it's not her story, and the story should override all.
