In the past, humans have faced prejudice from the other intelligent species, being frequently referred to as savages or monk-eys to mock their competitive behavior and religious zeal. However being creatures of extremes and spite, humans largely embraced those unaffectionate monikers. Thusly they benefit from the most complicated genetic resequencing procedure ever conceived, changing nearly everything in a human solely to give one the appearance of a savage, animalistic brute while still retaining all the wit and guile— or lack thereof— still so well known in their species.
