Meet my new Kirby OCs, who are Knuckle Joe's cousins from his mother's side of the family that happened to be from a long line of Knuckelf (What Knuckle Joe is) martial artists. Their names are Haoyu, Kouji, Kumi, Rosette, and Perez, and they are inspired by the enemy palletes of Knuckle Joe in his debut Kirby Super Star for SNES in 1996 and its 2008 Nintendo DS Remake Kirby Super Star Ultra and are also a direct reference to the fact Knuckle Joe is a Fighter Enemy in the series. However, for Haoyu's case, he has dark orange hair as that particular enemy pallete for Knuckle Joe that was unused in the original SNES version but reused in the DS remake (Only the red's changed to green in KSSU that I use for the pallete), where Knuckle Joe still has blond hair in that gray bodysuit pallete, so only the hair color was changed to distinguish from the other palletes in the game.
He gets along great with Burning Leo, much to Knuckle Joe's chargin as the two are rivals.
He's even a love interest of Sirica. Note: Milo Howell was going to be her love interest, but I decided to do minor changes, while very fond of Sirica, Milo admires the way she fights, but doesn't have romantic feelings towards her. Perez gets along with his fellow baby cousin Miko, and Lennon and Esme. ====== Growing up, Haoyu, Kouji, Kumi, Rosette, and baby Perez are the only children that are very close to their cousin Knuckle Joe prior to running away from home to avenge his fallen father Jecra by the hands of a Star Warrior.
After Knuckle Joe learned the truth of his father's death, his cousins went on training journeys themselves to be best fighters. == Knuckle Joe's cousins accept Ryo, Thoma, and Maya Nobleheart as their cousins, where Haoyu and Kouji are close with Thoma, while Kumi and Rosette are close with Maya.
