Inspired by a king from the Goryeo Dynasty in Korean history.

The Goryeo Dynasty (918–1392) was a Korean kingdom that unified the Korean Peninsula after the Later Three Kingdoms period. Founded by King Taejo.
Goryeo replaced the earlier Silla Dynasty and laid the foundation for a centralized government.

The name "Goryeo" is the origin of the modern name "Korea."
