Early morning finds you waking up in your tent deep in the wilderness of southern Africa, having taken a trip here to observe and photograph the wildlife. You’ve taken some impressive photos of the grasslands and the various inhabitants, but one notable animal has so far eluded you. You promise yourself that you’ll get some pictures of a cheetah today.
After dressing yourself and having a quick bite to eat, you take your camera and set out for a place to observe, hoping you’ll catch sight of a speedy feline. You trek for about half an hour before finding a small hill, and you walk to the peak and set up, looking through your binoculars for any traces of activity…
For a while, all you see is empty grassland, the sounds of insects buzzing nearby filling your ears as you silently observe – Until you catch movement! Looking carefully, you note it to be a gazelle about a hundred meters away, going about its business; while it’s not what you were hoping for, you watch it to alleviate your boredom than anything at this point.
It grazes for a little while, before it suddenly looks up, turning back – Then it takes off running! It doesn’t get far, though, before a large spotted blur pounces in front and hits the gazelle’s front leg with its paw, tripping it to the ground, and your excitement grows – You’ve finally found your cheetah!
Excitedly, you snap several pictures as it makes its kill, biting down on the gazelle’s windpipe to suffocate it, and while the ungulate struggles for a little longer, it eventually falls still after a few minutes, and the cheetah lets go and looks around, looking like it’s catching its breath after the sprint it made.
With the feline more or less still, you take the time to admire its beauty. The cheetah is about four and a half feet long from its nose to its rump, and you estimate it to be about two-foot-nine inches tall at the shoulder, though it’s hard to tell with it sitting like this. The feline’s dusty yellow fur is adorned with black spots, and when it turns its head in your direction, you have a moment to appreciate its golden eyes, its cute black nose, and the distinctive tear-like markings running from the inner corners of its eyes down to its muzzle. Its large paws hold the cat steady as it continues its panting breaths, idly surveying the area.
Suddenly, though, its ears perk as it looks off ahead, before it stands and lowers itself, yowling and hissing as it folds its ears back aggressively. You look where it’s facing, and you spot two spotted hyenas approaching and several more waiting behind, evidently coming to claim some of the cheetah’s food!
Despite the feline’s defensive attitude, the hyenas advance, and you watch as one charges at the cheetah to drive it away, before the rest of the clan swarms the fallen gazelle, tearing into it right in front of the cat that did all the work to bring it down!
The cheetah yowls at them, but they pay it no mind, and the feline can only skulk away, its kill stolen from it. You feel bad for the feline, but your attention is caught as it stops and sniffs the air, looking around. You wonder what it’s smelling as it looks around; to the left, then the right, then behind itself, then towards you – And then it crouches down, disappearing from sight in the tall grass!
You blink, standing up and trying to see where the cat is heading, but you’ve already lost sight of it, the predator disappearing into the grass as it prowls again! You take another look around, seeing what it could be hunting. All you find, though, is the gazelle being devoured by hyenas, and an impala way off in the distance, too far from the cheetah to be any concern to it. Besides, the cat looked like it was heading in the opposite direction…
You pause, lowering your binoculars. The direction it’s heading. The way it smelled the air. The way it looked right at you before crouching…
Just as the realization hits you, so does the spotted feline, leaping from the grass at full sprint! You yelp as you’re sent tumbling, somersaulting along the ground before being pinned down beneath the cheetah – It’s chosen you as its next target!
You feel its mass atop you; while the feline isn’t heavy, being built for speed, it’s got you held in a way that you can’t shift your weight to throw it off of you. It furthers the pin it has on you by sitting down on your legs, its large forepaws pressing on your chest, the feline panting to catch its breath and cool itself down. It remains observant, determined to not let this catch be stolen or get away!
You try to move, but the cheetah snarls, hissing at you. It’s keeping you alive right now, for whatever reason, but you know that could easily change if you get on its bad side, so you decide not to try escaping again. You do find it odd that it hasn’t tried to kill you and seems content to just keep you pinned, but it’s not like you could exactly ask the wild animal for its reasons and receive any meaningful response.
After another minute or so, the cheetah looks down at you, seemingly regarding you beneath its paws, before it leans down to your neck. You tense, thinking it’s about to clamp down on your throat to suffocate you, but instead, those teeth grab your shirt, before the feline tugs, pulling your shirt up and off of your body! You blink, very confused, especially as it shifts its position to use its hind-paws to slide off your bottoms as well as anything else you may have on, leaving you nude beneath its form!
The cheetah leans close to your face, sniffing you. Its long whiskers tickle you, and the ticklish sensation only grows as it lets its tongue out to lick your face. Its tongue is quite rough, but unlike what you were expecting, it’s not sharp or spiny; this feline’s tongue feels more akin to the scratchy sandpaper of a domestic cat. It’s nice you won’t have your face scraped while the cheetah has its taste test, at least, but you shudder softly as you realize, well, it’s having a taste test.
The cheetah moves lower with its licks, the scratchy tongue dragging along your neck, then your collarbone, then down your chest and stomach. You tense up and giggle as the wet muscle caresses your belly, tickling you as the cheetah samples your flavor some more, and you can hear the feline purring as the keep licking, evidently quite pleased with your taste!
This thought brings you back to reality, just as the cat sits back up again, looking around while keeping you still. It wants to eat you; you’ve figured that out, but why hasn’t it tried to kill you? What did it want?
You spot movement nearby, and angling your head, you spot a few vultures eyeing you, but oddly, the cheetah doesn’t hiss or snarl at them, as though it isn’t worried about them taking its catch. Instead, it leans down and licks your face a few more times, before it opens its mouth wide in front of you. And suddenly, it clicks.
Vultures would steal a kill from the cheetah. But the cheetah isn’t going to kill you first. It’s going to eat you whole and alive.
Your face fills with fright at this notion as you look into the cat’s mouth, greeted by the sight of its sharp teeth, rough tongue, ridged palate, fleshy velum, and wide-open pharynx. It brings its maw over your face, muffling the yelp you let out, and you feel the internal heat of the feline as it works the rest of your head into its mouth. The sharp teeth rest behind your head, ensuring you can’t escape without impaling yourself. The tongue drags against your face again, much slower this time – It seems the feline is savoring you now that it has you! The steady purring grows in front of you, emanating from deep within the cat’s chest, while a squeaky, high-pitched churr sounds from its throat.
Using its paws, the cheetah pulls you into a seated position, before lowering its head and swallowing, plunging your head into the tight grip of its esophagus. The muscles squish wetly around you, gripping your head and firmly tugging you deeper with every swallow the feline takes. You feel it turning its head to fit your shoulders into its mouth – Surprising you with how wide it can open its jaws – Before it pushes firmly to cram them into its throat as well!
With the widest part of you currently stuffed into the feline’s esophagus, you know it’s not going to have a problem swallowing you, and sure enough, the cheetah’s gulps increase in frequency, taking you deeper and deeper into its body at a steady pace. You hear its quick, excited heartbeat thrumming in your ears, as well as its focused breathing as it works your chest and then your belly past its jaws and into its gullet!
You feel a tightness at your head that soon gives way, letting you breach past the esophageal sphincter and into the feline’s quite warm stomach. You can’t see in the unlit chamber, but as more of you slides inside, you feel the springy, folded walls stretching and expanding to accommodate you within! You had wondered if the feline would even be able to get you inside its smaller body, but it certainly seems it’s going to give it its best try!
And it looks like its best try will be more than enough as you curl up tightly inside the churning belly, while the cheetah takes your hips and then your backside past its jaws, before tilting its head up to swallow down your legs. Your feet lightly kick, but the feline pays it no mind as it brings them into its mouth, giving a few more licks, before swallowing them too, sending you all the way into the warm stomach!
You’re forced into a tight curl inside the fleshy chamber, tucked into the fetal position, and you feel the cheetah’s belly sagging from your weight, making the stomach feel like a warm, soft hammock – Albeit one that’s currently squishing digestive fluids all over your body. The stomach is quite active, no doubt having anticipated the meal of a gazelle earlier but just as content to have you instead. You try to move, pressing against the walls of the belly, which give an inch or two before pushing you right back with a squeeze, ensuring you stay put while the stomach works on you.
Your prison begins to sway as the cheetah heads somewhere with you in tow, no doubt searching for a sunny spot to rest and digest its food. The thought makes you realize just how warm it is in here – Cheetahs naturally have a high metabolism to keep their sleek, speedy build, and seeing as the cat sprinted twice before catching you, it’s no wonder its temperature is high right now!
The stomach walls shift and squeeze, almost massaging you as the fluids rise around you. You feel a warm tingle running through your body as you start to soften – It’s not painful, oddly; it’s more akin to being sat close to a fire – But you know what this means for you. You make absolutely no progress in your efforts to get yourself out or to have the cheetah let you out; it’s quite pleased with its catch and fully intends to digest it!
You feel gravity suddenly shift sideways and pressure from below as the feline presumably finds a nice rock to sun itself on, the gentle purring building in its chest as it relaxes with its full belly. You feel something pressing from above, gently pushing down in a line repeatedly over the same spot, and you realize the cat is licking its belly! You chuckle softly, figuring it’s nice that one of you is happy with this situation, at least.
The squeezes from the stomach increase and the growing warmth makes it feel impossible to keep yourself awake; you know you aren’t getting out of here, at least not intact, and you just sigh and accept your fate, letting your eyes drift closed. The sounds of digestion and those contented purrs gradually fade away as you drift out of consciousness, your body going still and soft as the cheetah claims its catch, taking you all for itself and making it feel quite pleased with the turn of events today.
