I had ambitions of trying to program once. The girl who I was super into at the time, was certainly a muse for that. I wanted to design a Metroid-like that had a bunnylien discover (spoiler for a thing that is no kind of spoiler) Samus's destroyed suit from Metroid Zero Mission (seriously it's not even a spoiler Smash Bros shows the Zero Suit and it's even selectable from the menu)... Err, anyhow, I wanted to put the bnuuy in the suit and have the game control a little more like Zero from Mega Man Zero, where she'd get pips on her weapons as she used them, unlocking new abilities and moves.
But I'm in no way a programmer, and I couldn't tell you the first thing about game-design, unless that first thing is idk anything about it.
