In a timeline where the Super Genesis Wave didn't happen, Sonic had quite the interesting hookup with Elias... due to his tumultuous relationship with Sally, Sonic decided to spend a little time with her handsome brother, and Elias was surprisingly agreeable, having known about Sonic's more hidden desires. While he did love Megan, it was hard to deny there had been a spark between them, and with his new life in the woods, what was the harm?
The result of that little polyamory resulted in Harry, a nature-loving forest boy who makes it a strong point to not associate himself with his bloodline. He hates being called Harold, and don't you dare call him an Acorn or you'll get smacked with the hook of his staff. He's well trained in martial arts, and while he can't really run well, he can jump amazingly high and fast.
As adults, Sonic and Elias took to barefooting as a way to connect to nature, and Harry has taken that connection to a nearly parasocial level, refusing to even speak to anyone until they show their soles, and will violently bash away anyone who dares enter his house with shoes on. He is also heavily energetic and reactive to things, eager to investigate anything new.
