Refugees from Earth arrive on a distant alien planet in search of gold. The planet's atmosphere is volatile, perhaps even cruel; racked by mighty sea storms and violent eruptions. Here, inside of one of the many volcanoes populating a single mountain range, lies a palace. Two princesses must reconcile, or face scalding hot death.

Incredible, an album release that I can listen to. A concept album, even. Last minute of the first track told me I'd need to pull out the headphones. Like that third track with the increasing volume. Made me laugh, wish it'd gone further. Not really a fan of the edm stuff, but it gets carried by the rest. Not sure what to make of the ending. A victory for intergalactic corporatism?
Could you give some production details, like what you made it with? Aside from what you've mentioned.

All tracks were sequenced in FL Studio 21. The first track uses the following VSTs for its 'traditional' elements:
-Upright Piano 1 -Samsara Plucked Strings -Samsara MBox
'Mother Leopard' makes heavy use of H-Drum.
Any of the electronic elements were either sampled or were created using the following VSTs/soundfonts:
-Serum -The soundfont for Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire, which I've been using obsessively as of late. It mostly serves to build upon more conventional instrumentation in this. -3xOsc -Sylenth1 -Synth1 -Possibly some Comet's Tail plugins?
The rest is largely sampled. I sampled my girlfriend's track 'Unfolding' in the third. I made usage of foley recordings and percussive samples from HLRC, Jane Remover's old sample pack, and some of my own synthesized kicks. I also repurposed short bites of audio from various non-music sources like footage from a hailstorm, TWC broadcasts, and notably a recreation of the 1950s computer game 'OXO'. There's probably even more buried in there that'd be near impossible to account for, I'd say a solid portion of this PC's terabyte of storage is just samples I've gotten from who knows where, a lot of the time I don't even remember:
It's definitely an eclectic mess of an album. I tried to keep it open-ended while still guiding the listener to certain thoughts, but I still come from a very eclectic way of creating things, which causes a lot of it to be drowned out. Keeping the rest cryptic for when I decide to flesh everything out further into whichever medium it ends up being.

Thanks, I have a better understanding of your approach now. Hope to hear you do more in the future. ..Though I imagine it's a time-consuming sort of project for you.
Keeping the story cryptic is fine, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something you intended to be understood. Obviously there's some emotionally/neurologically-weighted stuff in there.
