"That the best you go-"

A massive metal fist rips through the air and socks Anikka square in the jaw, momentarily silencing the punk shark and throwing her back. Thanks to some time at the gym however she's able to land on her feet, using her axe bat as an anchor as the momentum of the punch throws her back. She slows herself down just enough, hurling dust and bits of cement ahead of her, trailing her as she slows to a stop. A grin etches on her face as she looks up at the metal robot before her, sparking in a few places but otherwise still standing.

"Heh, cheap shot asshole, but I ain't out yet," she says, flexing her jaw as she rights herself up. Standing before her opponent, she swings her axe a little, having it land just on her right shoulder, posing before the robot in defiance. This fight was taking a little longer than she would've liked, and while she was having fun she needed to end this soon. Switching her axe bat to boomerang mode, she let out a roar and rushed the robot, throwing her axe bat at an angle while she charged at it. Taking a quick jumping front flip her thick tail would slam hard onto her opponent, while her axe bat would circle in the air and land axe first onto it's top, splitting the robot's head in two. Jumping back and grabbing her weapon mid-flip, she made a quick slash at the metal monster before her, cleanly cutting its head off its body before landing perfectly on her feet. Before she could turn around to make a quip, the robot exploded right on top of her, sending her flying out of the alley...

Only to wake up on the plush, carpeted floor of her home. Looking around sleepily, her gaze stops over her mate, Shyla, who is sleeping quietly next to her. Her coils splay across the room, with the end resting on Anikka's lap. The rattle at the end would shake at a steady beat, matching her breathing, though it was soft enough that up until now Anikka didn't hear it. The shark woman smiled at her sleeping mate, leaning up close to her to kiss her on the cheek before scootching on closer to her to go back to sleep. While the action of her dream was something she was eager to return to, being next to Shyla, sleeping on the floor of their apartment was truly a dream come true.

S'been a while since I last drew Anikka with her axe bat, and I won't lie, I need to draw her more with it. It's such a cool weapon, and drawing action scenes like this is so fun. I especially wanted to draw Anikka doing the Akira slide because, aw man, that's such a cool pose!

That's mostly it. I have a Christmas pic coming along and many commissions I plan to finish this year, so expect a few more pics to be up soon!
