The doors to the dining room swung wide open, Tabitha couldn't believe what she had in front of her eyes, a huge and gigantic table, surrounded by about 100 people (mostly children) full of all kinds of extravagant and different dishes. It was the first time Tabitha had seen other faces besides Garret's since her arrival in Sin City. Some individuals present looked very strange, as they belonged to other alien races, although Tabitha was no longer afraid of being surrounded by aliens.
The food also looked quite strange, there was meat from animals that Tabitha had never seen before, but she was so hungry that she pounced on the first roasted animal, tearing its meat off directly with her teeth like a hyena, then she proceeded to take the food from another girl next to her.
—Hey! That was mine —This girl protested angrily.
—Calm down Kira, remember what I told you about the importance of sharing —the girl's mother told her.
Tabitha continued eating what looked like spaghetti, filling her fists with spaghetti and putting it in her mouth. Obviously, her manners were terrible, but she couldn't control herself. Then Tabitha ate some whole crunchy breaded insects, and finally buried her face in a delicious pumpkin pie.
—Hey, strange girl —a dragon boy with shiny yellow scales shouted at her—. It's not all just for you.
—Sorry —Tabitha said with her mouth full of pie—. I was very, very, very hungry, I couldn't control myself, please forgive me.
—Are you crazy? Didn't your master teach you good manners? —The dragon boy asked.
—My master? I imagine you mean a dragon like you, but giant, horrible, terrifying and grey.
—Don't talk so disrespectfully about Mr. Garret, you owe him your life and all this food you're eating —said the dragon boy, somewhat angry.
Tabitha was completely covered in jams, sauces, and purees. The shower a few moments ago had been useless, but she didn't care, she didn't stop devouring the legs of a lobster, drinking juice and even trying the brain of a strange roasted creature, everything was delicious. Garren was next to her, sucking on some raw guts.
After a while, the diners slowly left. Finally Tabitha had a completely full and enormous stomach, she felt really satisfied, the food had been simply the tastiest she had ever tasted in her life. The sugar in the desserts and milkshakes had given her a lot of energy, but after an hour the energy had run out and now she was sleepy. Tabitha was yawning now, and what her body needed most was sleep.
—A while ago *yawn* a boy told me that I owe you my life, who was he and why did he say that? —Tabitha asked.
—Many of the children you saw today were rescued by me from a disaster that destroyed their planet, but do you think I cared about being a hero? No, I just wanted to add them to my collection of children, and you are just the most recent acquisition to my collection —Garret answered.
—So, many children here don't have families, but I do, I do.
—Stop messing around with that. Come into my arms, Tabitha, I'll take you to your bedroom. Don't be afraid, we won't have sex, maybe tomorrow —said Garret.
Tabitha obeyed and gently let herself fall on Garret. Garret hugged her and caressed her, while he carried her to the room where she would spend the night.
—Now do you understand? This is the city of sin for a reason, a place of absolute pleasure and fun —said Garret—. Lust is the fundamental sin, and you have helped me a lot with my insatiable lust. Today you gave free rein to your gluttony, by eating everything you wanted, you showed how greedy you are. Unfortunately for Garret, Tabitha fell asleep almost instantly after falling into his arms, and she couldn't hear anything he had said to her.
