Over the last summer I dabbled in sculpey modeling clay, and made a project I've been wanting to make since I was a kid. Tiny monsters in a bottle; specifically my beloved DragonQuest slimes <3 I have a keen fascination with them. They are friendly and squishy looking and I would simply love to poke one in real life.

The slimes were made with white sculpey, baked in the oven, then painted with acrylic crafting paint a friend of mine was kind enough to loan me (which is still in my closet, actually). I painted over top with a clear coat to give them a little shine, filled a bottle with aloe gel and stuck 'em in it. Simple indeed.

Where do you buy the bottles? I make my own coarse grain incense and ive been looking for small bottles like those, basically enough for one burn.

Also you might try using a glass version :3 I used to make similer things in my school. We used glass beads and then a small metal rod dip it into the center of the molten blob of glass and pull up before it cools, it makes a teardrop, then add two colored beads with long tweasers before it cools to much and you have a "basic" slime.
Edit, also! +3 class Fav. love this kind of stuff, shame i cant do it anymore, ive fallen on hard times and have to live in a hotel room so i have no space to use as a workshop anymore :( used to make mosaics, stained glass, motlen glass necklaces, pottery... ect

This bottle was hard to come by. I actually bought it at a gift shop, then dumped out its contents for use in this project, ha ha. As for glass, that would be totally cool looking, but I don't have that kind of equipment sadly. I wouldn't have the time to put into learning a new hobby, either; I have so many already, lol

I thought about making an Etsy shop for them, actually, but after I made these couple, the urge to make them died immediately, so I guess you could say "craving satisfied"?

I suppose so, but i bet you could make some cash making charms and such, alot of people make charms. Nintendo charms, mario, zelda, geeky ones. But custom sona's would be a good idea. just a thought ^^
