Sprunki Babies, Episode 17: "Bubble Trouble"
---
It was bath day at the Beat Box nursery, and the babies were filled with a mix of excitement and curiosity. Ripple and Danny had set up the small tubs and filled them with warm, bubbly water for the boys, while Bianca prepared a cozy spot with bubbles and rubber duckies for the girls.
“Alright, everyone,” Ripple announced with a grin. “It’s time to get squeaky clean!”
The babies giggled and cheered as they each got ready for their turn, splashing excitedly in their little tubs. Wenda and Pinki eagerly let Bianca help them, enjoying the bubbles and making towers of foam. Meanwhile, Gray and Oren had fun with Ripple and Danny, splashing around and seeing who could make the biggest bubbles.
But as everyone settled into the bath routine, Skye stood at the edge, looking skeptical. “I… don’t think I want to,” he muttered, frowning as he watched the others play in the water.
Danny chuckled. “It’s just a bath, Skye. It’s fun, and you’ll feel fresh and clean afterward.”
Skye crossed his arms stubbornly, shaking his head. “I don’t like it. I don’t want to get wet.”
Ripple knelt beside him, trying to reassure him. “You don’t have to stay in long, Skye. Just a quick wash, and you can join us in the bubbles.”
But Skye wouldn’t budge, and for the next couple of days, he continued to avoid bath time. Every time Ripple, Danny, or Bianca mentioned it, he found a way to slip away or make an excuse.
---
Finally, on the third day, Ripple had an idea. He brought out his phone, and Mr. Computer appeared on the screen with a friendly smile. “Hello, Skye! I hear you’ve been avoiding bath time.”
Skye shuffled his feet, looking embarrassed but still reluctant. “Yeah… I don’t really see why we need it. I don’t like getting all wet and soapy.”
Mr. Computer chuckled warmly. “That’s understandable, Skye! But baths are important because they help keep us healthy and clean. When we go a while without a bath, dirt and germs can build up, which can make us feel itchy or even sick.”
Skye tilted his head, curious. “So, baths keep us from getting sick?”
“That’s right!” Mr. Computer replied. “Baths wash away the things that aren’t good for our skin, so we stay fresh and feel our best. Plus, it’s a way to relax and have fun.”
Skye thought about it, nodding slowly. “I guess that makes sense… And it does look fun with the bubbles.”
Mr. Computer smiled. “Exactly! And you don’t have to stay in long—just enough to get clean.”
---
With Mr. Computer’s encouragement, Skye decided to give it a try. Danny helped him into the small tub, where Ripple had prepared extra bubbles and a rubber duck just for him.
At first, Skye was tentative, but soon, he found himself laughing and splashing around with the others, stacking bubbles on his head and enjoying the warm water. Ripple and Danny praised him for giving it a try, and Skye felt proud of himself.
Afterward, as he wrapped up in a soft towel, Skye looked up at Mr. Computer’s screen. “Thanks for explaining, Mr. Computer. I didn’t know baths were so important!”
Mr. Computer smiled. “You’re very welcome, Skye. You did a great job!”
As the day wound down, Skye joined his friends, feeling fresh, clean, and happy. And from then on, bath time became one of his favorite parts of the day, filled with bubbles, fun, and the joy of feeling good from head to toe.
