The moon's always been a thematic presence in my life. Eli's no different. He prefers the nighttime and is keen on many myths involving rabbits in the moon. Some deep down part of him thinks he's a creature from the moon himself, and explains why he feels different from others. A silly thought, but a boy can dream.
