Personality
Sunshine is more cheerful and friendly than most other Shadows, (as his nickname would imply) despite the trauma and loss he has faced in his past. Although he’s more upbeat and outgoing than most other Shadow’s, he is still a Shadow and is a force to be reckoned with when angered and will not hesitate to protect his loved ones with his life and/or brute force if they are in danger.
Likes/Dislikes
Sunshine has a terrible fear of heights, and sudden loud noises like firearms make him nervous. He’s capable with firearms but doesn’t like using them very much and will only use them when he has to, he’s also very uncomfortable around needles. He has taken a liking to gardening and drawing as well as tending to the wild Chao Garden near his home every weekend.
Background/History
Sunshine’s story truly begins after the Black Arms invasion, that was when he finally made peace with his tragic past and began to heal and move on from it after regaining his memories. He started dating Cobalt (Sonic) soon after the invasion and the two of them quickly got engaged then married only a year after they began their romantic relationship, they decided to attend The Festival Of The Sun in Soleanna for their honeymoon although for some reason neither of them are able to recall much about their time spent there. Their marriage went smoothly for the next few years despite multiple failed attempts to conceive a child, until an all out war breaks out against Eggman and his newest threat, Infinite. Cobalt goes missing after losing a fight against Infinite and is rumored to be dead for the next six months, during that time Sunshine realizes that he was finally pregnant with his and Cobalt’s first child. He decides to go into hiding to protect himself and his baby, until Rouge contacts him one day to let him know that Cobalt had been found alive aboard the Death Egg and was waiting for him at The Resistance’s HQ. The two of them have a tearful reunion and are finally able to celebrate the news of their swiftly impending parenthood together, welcoming their son Sol (Silver) soon after Eggman and Infinite are defeated and the war is won.
