A lot of my dreams involve running through endless stretches of rooms or corridors. Sometimes it can be fun. The locales can be fun in an "exaggerated reality" sorta way, like when I dream about school.

But when it's not, it's really not. Rarely do I feel like I'm being chased by anything, but even when I'm not I feel an instinctual drive to get out of wherever I am as fast as I can without looking back.

A particularly bad one involved a continuously looping corridor that was equal parts industrial garage and gamer basement. I just kept turning corners and seeing the same sofa and TV center nestled right in the middle of a mad interpretation of a warehouse/garage. At some point I heard a dark laugh I internalized as, "oh god am I dead? I think I'm dead!". I remember collapsing and crying out for my boyfriend only to get laughed at again when he didn't appear.

Thankfully I woke up quick after that. Still, it's one that stayed with me.

ooooh this one is SPOOKY. i don't dream often these days, but as a kid it was all nightmares all the time. i think my brain just conditioned itself to stop remembering them at some point. nowadays i have maybe 2-3 a year that i actually remember and 90% of the time they're gory and scary. im 28 and i still don't like being in the dark at night. always feels like someone is or will be behind me.
