How I recommend reading this:

Read it all the way through once without the music, just so you can really immerse yourself in the visual setting.

Then read it again while listening to the music and following along.

When following along, you will have to either skip the A/V bits, or pause in order to skim them, so that's why I'd recommend reasing the full thing first without the song, just so it doesn't feel too stoppy-starty and disorienting.

Listen to the music here: https://youtu.be/aSrtkKnVeKg (Credit to Demi Lovato for the lyrics I modified and TRONICBOX for the instrumental)

A/V
The video beguns with Summer and Dylan walking side by side along a golden sandy country beach in Cornwall. It's a partly cloudy, mostly sunny they. The waves gently lap in the background.

At first most of the shot is obscured by Dallas, Destiny and Deja Vu holding a clapperboard right in front.

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DESTINY)
Psst, Deja Vu, I think they're rolling.

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DEJA VU)
Huh? ...Oh right!
((claps the clapperboard))

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DALLAS)
Action!

A/V
Dallas, Destiny and Deja Vu quickly scamper off-screen, and the focus is moe on Dylan and Summer walking along the beach.

Dylan and Summer look casual and relaxed, Dylan appearing happy but nervous, Summer with affection but also a little devilish mischief in her eyes and the way she walks.

Summer sings to Dylan, with the camera cutting when appropriate between a close up on of Summer singing the words, a close up of Dylan's flustered and hypnotised reaction to hearing them, and a long shot showing the two of them walking side by side in the beach environment, tails wagging.

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Tell me what you want, what you like, it's okay
I'm a little curious
Tell me if it's wrong, if it's right, I don't care
I can keep a secret good

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind
Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DYLAN)
((blushes and flinches, tail wagging))
Ch-cherry?

.

0:34

A/V
The video cuts to a makeshift stage in the backyard of 101 Dalmatian Street.

Summer and Dylan are standing together at the front of the stage in front of a microphone.

Toward the right side of the stage, D.J. is playing the keyboard. He also has a turntable near him with a few controls he is adjusting too, and also with a saxophone sitting atop it.

Toward the left side of the stage, Dizzy and Dee-Dee are playing the drums.

Da Vinci is shyly hiding at the back right corner of the stage, but she looks happy too though, just shy. She is operating the lights using a wired controller.

At the back left corner of the stage are Dante playing a very gothic-looking electric guitar, and Dawkins using a theremin-looking thing to play the bass part.

All of the many dalmatian siblings are watching in the audience, along with their parents Delilah and Doug and their friends Spike, Fergus, Roxy, Hansel, and Snowball.

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Don't tell your mother
Kiss one another
Die for each other
We're cool for the summer

DIRECTIONS/LINES (SUMMER)
((pulls Dylan close to the microphone so they can sing thr chorus together. Whispers in his ear)
You got this, city boy!

LYRICS (SUMMER & DYLAN)
((Dylan hesitates for the first couple of words, but then starts to enjoy singing))
Take me down into your paradise
Don't be scared, 'cause I'm your body type
Just something that we wanna try
'Cause you and I, we're cool for the summer

1:01

A/V
Summer and Dylan step to the side for a minute, as D.J. plays a melodramatic, passionate sax solo that ends with him sliding along the stage on his knees and the audience throwing him roses.

.

1:18

A/V
The video cuts to Dylan and Summer at the dog park, playing tug of war with a rubber chicken. Summer wins and gently holds Dylan close by the collar. He swallows nervously and his tail wags. Other dogs at the park turn and look, both a little startled and a little impressed by the public display of affection. Dylan sings nervously.

.

1:18

LYRICS (DYLAN)
Tell me if I won, if I did, what's my prize?
I just wanna play with you
Even if they judge, fluff it, I'll do the time
I just wanna have some fun

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((raises an eyebrow and smirks))
Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind
Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Don't tell your mother

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DYLAN)
M-maybe we should tell her, we don't want to get in troub-

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((smirks and rolls her eyes, putting a paw on Dylan's mouth to shush him))
Kiss one another
Die for each other
We're cool for the summer

.

1:53

A/V
The video cuts to Dylan and Summer on stage again, right up the fromt of the stage again at the microphone together. This time Dylan looks more confident that the first chorus, and eagerly launches right into it.

.

1:53

LYRICS (SUMMER & DYLAN)
Take me down into your paradise
Don't be scared, 'cause I'm your body type
Just something that we wanna try
'Cause you and I,
We're cool for the summer

2:14

A/V
Da Vinci focuses the spotlights on D.J. With one of the roses from earlier in his mouth, D.J. plays a subtle and understated, but still somehow just as melodramatic as before, keyboard solo. Da Vinci makes sure to use the lighting to maximum melodramatic effect.

At some parts during the keyboard solo, Summer whisper-sings into Dylan's ear, but still loud enough for the microphone to pick it up too, with heavy reverb.

2:23

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((whispers))
Don't tell your mother~

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DYLAN)
((blushes and the fur on his neck and tail stand on end))

.

2:29

A/V
The video cuts to Dylan and Summer on a spacewalk, wearing spacesuits. Dylan is looking for sensible and serious, holding a box full of important looking wrenches and other tools.

The background has a very 70s-sci-fi-movie look, with colourful nebulae and cartoony planets and asteroids, and big, visibly-twinkly stars. It looks kind of campy but in a fun, aesthetic way.

As they float in the zero-gravity, tethered to their ship, Summer 'swims' over towards Dylan, and whispers to his helmet as she slyly circles around him.

Dylan involuntarily drops his toolbox at Summer's teasing, and the tools float off into space around them as she circles him.

In the background, Snowball (wearing a spacesuit) can be seen getting pulled away by her leash by her owner somehow, despite being in the middle of outer space.

.

2:29

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((whispers))
Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind
My mind on your body and your body on my mind
Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a try
I just-
Taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite

.

2:47

A/V
The video cuts back to the stage again, where Summer continues to whisper to Dylan, who is by this stage a blushing, flustered, tail-wagging mess.

Summer's whispers gradually get bolder, less whispery and more singy, as she builds to a crescendo.

.

2:47

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((whispers, but gradually boldening into a crescendo))
Don't tell your mother
Kiss one another
Die for each other
We're cool for the summer
We're cool for the summer!

3:02

LYRICS (SUMMER)
((now fully belting, not whispering anymore))
Take me down!!

A/V
Dante launches into an awesome guitar solo behind Dylan and Summer as they sing a fiery and enthusiastic chorus.

Da Vinci makes extremely liberal use of the fog machine.

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Take me down into your paradise

LYRICS (DYLAN)
No don't be scared

LYRICS (SUMMER)
Don't be scared, 'cause I'm your body type
Just something that we wanna try

LYRICS (DYLAN)
Wanna try

(SUMMER)
'Cause you and I

(DYLAN)
You and I

(SUMMER)
We're cool for the summer

(SUMMER & DYLAN)
We're cool for the summer

(SUMMER)
Don't be scared
'Cause I'm your body type

(DYLAN)
Just something that we wanna try
'Cause you and I

(SUMMER)
You and I

(SUMMER & DYLAN)
We're cool for the summer

.

3:36

A/V
D.J. closes out the song with a gentle outro on the keyboard, as the the performers' friends and siblings applaud, cheering them on for their good work.

4:03

But then Dizzy quiety tugs on Dylan's shoulder and asks a question.

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DIZZY)
Dylan, what does 'taste for the cherry' mean? And why did you get flustered about it.

DIRECTIONS/LINES (DYLAN)
((gives Summer an unimpressed glare))

DIRECTIONS/LINES (SUMMER)
Uhhhh, that just um, means (ahem) I just really like cherries. Like the fruit. I'm really into, uh, vitamins and stuff.

(DIZZY)
((looks suspiciously up at Summer))

(SUMMER)
((swallows nervously))

(DIZZY)
((smiles and shrugs))
Huh. Fair enough.
((walks casually back over to Dee-Dee as if nothing happened))

(SUMMER)
(breathes a big sigh of relief and sits down))

(DYLAN)
((tries to stifle a giggle))

(SUMMER)
((glares at Dylan... but then smirks and starts to giggle herself))

An idea for 101 Dalmatian Street music video, for TRONICBOX’s 80s style cover of ‘Cool For The Summer’. Starring Dylan and Summer and friends :)

It was challenging to do this because usually music video scripts are written in a table format with two columns, one for audio-visual events and one for lyrics. I had to get creative in trying to compress that into a linear single column format. I hope it worked out okay :)
