Halloween night is a great time for trick or treating… if you’re a kid, that is. Teenagers and adults may normally stay home to relax, but some just aren’t content with that. In the case of our beloved heroes, there’s one war to properly enjoy this holiday: Costume Party. Redblur, Morph and Princess Flora invited the terrific trio to a Monster Themed costume party, and they all agreed to meet up at an empty house not far from town. All dressed up in proper attire, the fun is well underway tonight.
Aki: “Oh hell yeah! This party is freaking awesome! You guys were right about this “Halloween” thing being pretty fun.”
Mike: “I figured you guys would love it. And thanks for inviting us here, Redblur. This is a great joint… oh and Morph? Nice werewolf costume, by the way.”
Toshi: “I certainly appreciate Redblur, Morph and Princess Flora’s invitation as well. Though I have to ask… does anyone know who this house belongs to?”
Part 2:
The fun was great while it lasted, but now it looks like the party’s over. As the merry band of friends head home for the night, Mike and his two buddies can’t help but look back at the quaint little home one last time… and boy, did they get a surprise when they did. Where once there was a cozy looking house, there was now nothing but a dilapidated wreck. As the creepy chilling laugh of a disembodied voice filled the night air, they all came to the same striking realization…
Toshi: “W-Wait, that house was… HAUNTED?! The whole time we were in there?! AAAAAAH!”
Mike: “Huh, and we never even noticed. But don’t worry, pal. Doesn’t look like whoever owns the place wanted to hurt us.”
Aki: “Kinda bummed they didn’t, to be honest. Fighting a ghost woulda made my Halloween night even better than usual. Maybe next year…”
Immediately afterward, Toshi got overwhelmed by fear and fainted. Needless to say, Mike gave the Oni quite the glare as he carried their friend over his shoulder into the night. Luckily for the hanyou, his blonde buddy never gets scared or frightened of anything.
Oh, and if you’re wondering why Mike isn’t turning into a werewolf because of the full moon: Gamer enchanted the fake neck bolts in his costume to suppress his wolf side. As long as they stay on, he stays human. Ain’t magic handy?
