I absolutely love this char design

so you're basically saying "dragons are generally highly territorial, driven by instinctive greedy hoarding drive" -- which however individually varies to some degree - to an extent that in this particular one, other drives are more dominant.

prime example of the fact that you can't cram a whole species into a "drawer" and think because you know the typical you know them all - and that goes of course for all species, not just for your dragons.
