Well, here's my character, and the party's transport for Symphony of Silver Strings, my massive, new Exalted 3e TTRPG campaign! Made primarily of Jade (one of the Five Magical Metals) with a number of Orichalcum, Moonsilver, Starmetal and Soul Steel parts. Hence his title, Heaven Forged Dragon of the Five Metals. Pentazer "Heaven Forged Dragon of the Five Metals" Size Category: Huge Vehicle (264 meters long, 3 decks) Speed: 4x Sky Cracking Horizon Breaker Essence Drives +4 [+16 total] Manoeuvrability: +5 Hull Track: 12 Hull: -0x2, -1x4, -2x2, -3x2, -4x2 / Incapacitated Cargo: Pentazer can store an arbitrary weight of equipment, supplies, food and water in a storage bay of 139,000 square meters (or about 1.5 million square feet). The weight of Pentazer’s cargo does not alter Pentazer’s mass, nor does the volume of his hold, which far exceeds his physical size. Crew Capacity: 12 officer quarters, 160 airmen beds (2 bunk quarters), 4 passenger quarters. Displacement: 45,000 Tons Artifact: § N/A Movement: Pentazer's default cruising speed is 750 km/h, he gains +50 km/h for every +1 speed bonus above his default. When fully wound up, the Sky Cracking Horizon Breakers can allow the ship to teleport to any known location, shifting his position across the Loom of Fate, rather than physically moving. This also allow him to effective "dodge fate" and "destiny" to shed curses and other such features.
Armament 2x Shishi Storm Cannons Wrist mounted auto cannons on Pentazer's forelegs can aim easily and rely on volume of fire to deal damage.
8x Green Jade Essence Cannons Standard ordinance turret, fires bolts essence duped bolts of explosive ordinance at his foes. Accurate, long range, but not terribly powerful.
48x Red Jade Dragon’s Barb Cannons Dozens of small, sealable ports all over Pentazer's hull can open up to fire out bending, tracking lasers. Precision accurate, but not that powerful.
12x White Jade Peacock Plume Batteries Pentazer's retractable missile banks can each fire dozens of missiles. Saturation damage is extreme but missiles can be blocked.
2x Black Jade Tsunami Wave Cannons Long range, precision Essence beam cannons. Extremely powerful but he only has two batteries; one on his dorsal and one on his ventral side.
1x Blue Jade Marduk Imperial Magic Cannon Can have a spell loaded into it and fired at a target to deal the spell effect on impact with massive escalation in all the spell's factors.
Polar Vortex Torpedoes Pentazer fires one or more auger-tipped torpedoes from his wing launch tubes. The torpedoes are high payload dumbfire and can be fired in a salvo if needed.
Godspear Breath Pentazer's primary weapon, signature of his father, Valevis, the Five Metal Shrike. Essence Breath is powerful enough to eradicate gods, can bend around the curvature of the Realms and reach across the horizon. When fully unleashed, Pentazer’s breath can be more destructive than any superweapon known to the modern world. Essence Breath is capable of turning mountains to molten pools, carving valleys from plains, splitting the ocean or eradicating heavily armoured and shielded fortresses.
Thousand Winged Crane Style (AKA Ship-Fu) The martial arts known to Grand Realmships of the Golden Age. Grand Realmships are fully sapient warships used in the defence and counter offensive of the War in Heaven, functionally a War Strider on a much more massive scale. Capable of utilizing essence with the might of their spirit and their articulated limbs, the Grand Realmships could perform this unique form of martial arts. The Thousand Winged Crane art was lost among the rest of the Golden Age, though even if it were known, there is no vessel today with a soul capable of performing these mystical martial arts.
Here are some ship actions from the campaign, if you’re interested: “Boop” (Roll: Wits + Sail + Manoeuvrability; Cost: 7 Momentum) Pentazer’s captain directs him to collide with and grapple his opponent. Being made of the Five Magical Metals, Pentazer is impervious to standard collision damage but can inflict devastating impact damage on his enemies should they be less amoured.
After Pentazer collides with the foe, dealing an automatic 2 points of hull damage, he automatically succeeds in a grapple and can perform additional grapple actions.
Hurricane Bolt Tail Swipe (When grappling, Cost: 5 Momentum) Pentazer swings his tail around and slams it into the side of the adversary’s hull. Those onboard Pentazer will not feel the momentum but will feel a “jarring impact” as the tail collides. The force of the impact knocks the ship from the dragon’s grasp and sends it hurtling backward by one unit of map movement. The ship is also rendered out of control due to having lost stability and will have to use its next turn to regain that before it can take any other action. The impact deals 1 bashing hull damage.
Starmetal Fangs (When grappling, Roll: Wits + Sail; Cost: 3 Momentum) Starmetal is the rarest of the Five Magical Metals, as such the least present on Pentazer’s design. However the most notable use of it is that all his teeth are solid Starmetal. This allows them to penetrate and puncture metals as hard as tungsten as though it were as soft as flesh. A bite from the dragonship is among the most devastating attacks he can unleash on another vessel.
Pentazer’s bite deals 2 + successes in lethal hull damage.
The bite deals 2 additional hull damage for every point of size category below Pentazer.
Fivefold Resplendent Claws (When grappling, Roll: Wits + Sail; Cost: 1 Momentum) Pentazer’s Orichalcum claws gleam with the flash with the light of the sun as they swipe through the air in combat. When the dragonship has grappled another vessel, he can rake his Fivefold Resplendent Claws across the hull, creating an enormous breach. This deals 1 lethal hull damage and creates a breach point for boarding action.
The shocking method of Pentazer’s assault reduces the momentum cost of boarding actions by 4 and grants 1 automatic success to whatever stratagem is chosen.
Pentazer’s claws deal 1 additional hull damage for every point of size category below Pentazer.
Combat Support: Dragon Strike Direct Damage: 8 + 1 automatic success. Cost: 8 DP, single target location, 10m radius AoE Deals full lethal damage roll to target within 5m radius of the center point. All entities in outer area of effect take half bashing damage rolls and face a knock down test (Diff 4 Strength).
