I wanted to try something a little more organic and don't think I succeeded.

Still not 100% happy with her design.

I don't think the anything but the bow of the apron would be visible from this angle.

Specifically something that was mentioned in the story was left out.

Though I could add a bow, but not all french maid costumes have a bow in back. Some of them simply have the apron built into the dress.
