My tribute to One Direction ex-singer Liam Payne, who tragically passed away yesterday at the age of 31. After falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Liam was born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, England. He first gained fame as a member of the boy band One Direction, along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson was formed on the British TV show "The X Factor" in 2010.

The group quickly became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, known for hits like "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Story of My Life", this last one with Liam being one of the song's writers, which includes all the other members of the band , along with other songwriters and producers Julian Bunetta, Jaime Scott and John Ryan.

After the group went on hiathus in 2016, Liam pursued a solo career. His debut single, "Strip That Down", released in 2017, was a major success, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart and number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100.

He released his debut album, "LP1", in 2019, and continued to produce music and collaborate with other artists.

He was also known for his personal life, including his relationship with singer Cheryl, with whom he had a son named Bear.

Despite his professional success, Liam faced personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol.

His untimely death on October 16 of this year has left fans and the music world in mourning.
