Humanoid face are often a hit or miss. Just depends on the artist and how they balance between human and animal. For me, I often dislike when the animal face has a beard that doesn't blend in well with the overall design and feels tacked on. Or when the face is human, but they put like a darkened mark on the nose to call it an anthro >.>
But yeah, heavily depends on the artist and design choices.
