After the success I felt from coloring the previous image, of surfing Luanna, I went a little mad with power now that I had a method to color Luanna's hair. I've wanted to fully color this sketch page for ages, but it always felt WEIRD having her hair not match the 'official' image drawn by Kaboozle, the one in the center.
Now though, high on my success, I decided to give it a shot. It's not a perfect match, but honestly it's close enough that I am satisfied with it!
This image took HOURS to color. My wrist was killing me by the time I was done with it. I really should've taken a break in the middle and finished it today instead, but I couldn't help myself. The pain was worth it though; I'm very happy with how this one turned out, and I am tempted to go back and color older sketch pages of mine.
Yeah; it feels super good to have this all colored! I've been wanting to color this piece for basically as long as I've been able to color stuff, but it never felt right without getting Luanna's hair right. this isn't a perfect 1-to-1 match with how Kaboozle colored it, but it's good enough to satisfy me. ^^
