So, Civitai recently changed their policies and the way their 'currency' (the Buzz) works.
Before, you had just Buzz, and could use it for anything, and you could get Buzz for free by liking people's pictures and claiming daily stipends and a myriad of other ways. Most important, you could donate your Buzz to other artists.
Now, they created Yellow Buzz, and Blue Buzz. Yellow Buzz you need to buy, or earn through convoluted ways. You can do anything you want with Yellow Buzz. Blue Buzz you get by liking pictures and posting pictures and such, but you can only use Blue Buzz to make more pictures, you can't give it to other artists.
I use Civitai mostly to have fun, to generate ponies and things InkBunny doesn't allow, and sometimes to try out ideas (I call them sketches) because Civitai renders faster than my own computer. But their changes made Buzz scarce.
So I found out they have something called the "beggars board", where you basically post an image begging for Buzz. And apparently there's some sort of contest. I guess whoever gets the most likes wins.
SoOooOoo, I made a cute picture of Luna in a bee costume and posted there. And they encourage me to share the link so people will like it. 😜
