The same year Maria went through her rebellious phase she also met an equally rebellious boy who was 3 years older than her but was held back a few grades. He came from the town over to her school after being expelled him his previous school. He ended up sitting next to her in class near the back of the classroom in 1st period. They kinda hit it off immediately, but Maria was about to find out why he was expelled from his previous school.
