Dino Daycare - Supporting Characters

Hey, Another team! The daycare can't just have heroes and villains, it's gotta have some side characters too! Soo... Team Wessex! Although ironically almost none of the members are actually from the Wessex Formation. yeah, it's got traces of Elasmosaurus, and some hints at a potential Baryonyx... but honestly some of these team names are genuinely stretching it.

(And yes, Olivia being Scottish is a reference to the Loch Ness Monster)

As much as I love the characters and their concepts/personalities, their designs are in need of a serious rework. Harrier shares a similar problem with team Elrhaz and that his outfit is too ridiculous for the setting. Finn looks really underwhelming for what he's supposed to represent, Olivia's wheelchair needs a rework (maybe to something more conventional), and the twins are kinda meh. (also I don't know if anyone has noticed it yet, but the twins are a very obvious reference to Leon13's characters. Noel is literally Leon spelled backwards)

Here's a team I've been working on the past few days! Team Wessex, the Blue team, Sea, Air and Land, a well rounded team ready to take on anything!

Olivia Nesbin
Gender: Female
Age: 5
Species: Elasmosaurus platyurus

Don't let the wheelchair fool you, Olivia has quite the impressive upper body strength, and is an excellent swimmer! Using her arms and tail to propel herself forwards. Whenever she's in the water, and completely in her element, free from the shackles of land, Olivia just feels so... unbound, and nothing makes her happier than a swim day at the Daycare!

Despite her disability, Olivia is more than determined to continue on and enjoy making the most of her life! she leads her team with a determined and upbeat attitude, being highly capable at giving out orders and playing to her team's strengths, in any competition. And her teammates seem to think so, being highly supportive and happy to help out their leader in areas they know she can't handle by herself, such as working together to carry her and her wheelchair up a small flight of stairs together!

Olivia's leadership and the efforts of her team, has granted Team Wessex many rewards by the daycare staff, and with great respect for her teammates, she will promise to continue doing whatever it takes to ensure that they remain considered as one of the best teams in the daycare!

(Also, I know people will probably ask this, but yes, Olivia does wear diapers, due to her disability.)

Finn McAlister
Gender: Male
Age: 5
Species: Baryonyx walkeri

Sometimes... Finn feels like life and order can be kinda dull sometimes... Sure, it's nice to make sure things work right, but sometimes, the world could use a little more 'chaos'. Finn promises to deliver. The Baryonyx enjoys causing a ruckus, playing pranks, doing crazy stunts on the playground, or just blurting out silly jokes that gets a laugh out of the many kids around him. Although he doesn't do this out of malice, and moreso out of boredom. And similar to Max, wishes to spread more laughter around the world, But unlike Max, Finn usually takes little consideration into others and often himself, when pulling his wild stunts, and the misbehaving Baryonyx has ended him in more trouble than he's expected.

Despite his actions, Finn has a deep respect for Olivia, and refuses to sabotage her, preferring to work together with her to ensure the continued successes of their team! Finn also has an interest in sharks, and loves reading up on them!

Noel & Parkson Spencer
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Species: Iguanodon bernissartensis

Often just referred to together as "the Twins", and while looking rather similar, the Spencer brothers Noel and Parkson do have their notable differences, Despite being the same age as his brother, Noel is often considered the more mature of the two, being more responsible and proactive, looking out for his 'younger' brother, with an interest in writing, and puzzle solving.

Parkson can be slightly shy at times, due to the fact that unlike his brother, he's still being potty trained, but aside from that, he is usually shown to have an excitable personality when the time comes! He's often the more artistic and creative of the two brothers, and also the idea kid of his team! despite being considered the youngest, Parkson is usually the one to look to for ideas for any creative sessions.

With Noel's logic, and Parkson's creativity, the twins can pretty much accomplish anything so long as they work together!

Harrier Dunwald
Gender: Male
Age: 5
Species: Pteranodon longiceps

Coming from a family with a rich military background, and one of the louder kids at the daycare, Harrier can often take things a little too seriously... despite being in daycare, he thinks he's in boot camp, and will unironically march, salute, and yell out things like "Yes Ma'am! I will not fail you Ma'am! Proud to serve this nation!" as he heads over to the stationary shelf to collect a set of extra markers for his teacher, or in his case C.O., Harrier is shown to be workaholic and takes pride in his military background proclaiming that he will one day be a proud member of the Air Force, something he's definitely taken quite the commitment to!
