In a universe were Ripley didn't have to go back for the cat, because she WAS the cat.
This is all kinds of awesome. I'm a huge Aliens nerd, and it's really cool to see Synn as Ripley. The eggs around her look great, as do the goopy walls of the hive, and the whole atmosphere is fantastic. I love her expression, too. She just has that "I'm so sick of this shit" look that you know how to be there under all of Ripley's badassery. Absolutely gorgeous work all around!

Now I'm intrigued by the idea of a full-blown anime featuring Synn shredding through dozens of Xenomorphs... this is truly epic and majestic artwork! Heck, I even love the idea of potentially rotoscoping Synn's likeness into the Ripley parts in the film itself. It would be a lot of work but the end results would be phenomenal! :D
The dark seeping atmosphere in this piece sets a PERFECT creepy mood... highly reminiscent of the original film! Synn's exhaustion and weariness can be seen quite clearly, she's determined and so ready to go home now. Poor tigress! :'3 I feel for her, carving down unhatched eggs can be a daunting task, indeed.
Thanks for sharing this piece! Just in time for the "holiday" season. 🎃
