I fixed her character design. The intrusive thoughts won over me.

Hello, all! It's Katelyn again! Me being me and all, I've decided to hop back onto the drawing board and fix her character design, and I got a bit carried away over the past several days. While doing so, I also decided to add details and textures to her and added some old references of her older designs I have on file. These references are her bangs that she used to have in the early 2020s and 2018 when I first created her.
I was also being a bit paranoid and hard on myself onto what people think about her, which I previously thought was negative, so I fired up GIMP and decided to start fresh with her. I had thoughts of people thinking me as some sort of fetish artist and why I keep on drawing Ami being plus-sized and overweight, but yet, that had to change. This is why I fixed up her character design while I was recovering from getting my COVID-19 shot and flu shot over the past numerous days, yet the COVID-19 shot was kicking my butt.
It wasn't fun for myself especially, but I got over it over the past three or so days with my feeling like I'm in pain, but I got Ami all done tonight as of October 2nd, 2024. I started working on her back on September 26th and finished her tonight as of writing this, plus I tweaked her color palette, as you can see here.
She looks utterly unrecognizable now, honestly. You can view the other versions of this on my other art accounts!
Update as of 10/22/2024: — I took out the extra bangs Ami had at the back of her head, since those were put there by mistake. Layer count is the same regardless!
