Uh oh.. Suko found Mephiles shard and is full of questions. Unfortunately he's not allowed to know as it could mess up Shadows work. Perfect time to try out one of Mephiles' special abilities: hypnosis! As kids Mephiles would hypnotize people mostly to get extra food or out of trouble. Suko at some point wanted to see it worked but they learned that the little prince couldn't get effected very well. What a bummer. They would've used it to get into the candy stash XD Shadow tried and got a little through to Suko but clearly his will was stronger. Which sucked cuz Shadow was really wanting to try some... stuff.. maybe theres a different way.. a stronger more effective way to neutralize the prince.. :3

This revelation is promising, even though Shadow tried to make Suko forget. When we get back to the present, hopefully, Sonic will accept the truth from Mephiles. I would be nice for the two friends to reunite. Mephiles did care about him even though he wasn't in love with him.
