Before this time Saurus was a villain that helped out with a group led by a mare called Nightmare and despite the alligator losing the fight, getting incarcerated for a time Nightmare wants him back in her new group and well he’s settling into a new life, something that Nightmare isn’t to happy about.
Sunspear the bison who tends to hang around Saurus (trying to keep him on the straight and narrow) can hear how loud the mare is being on Saurus’ phone and seems a bit interested, and well, Saurus having first hand experience kinda warns him off from getting involved with Nightmare or anyone in her group.
