Despite coming from a wealthy family, his parents are absent, leaving him to navigate life with little guidance. His privileged upbringing is reflected in his big, rough appearance, making him seem like a spoiled brat at first glance. However, beneath his tough exterior lies a soft spot—especially for Tama and Taro, whom he spends most of his time with.
At seven years old, Marrow is noticeably chubby for his age, standing taller than most kids his age with a sturdy build, weighing around 32 kg. One day, fed up with the emptiness of his home, he ran away out of boredom, wandering deep into the mountains alone. While exploring, he stumbled upon Tama, peacefully fishing by himself. Something about the tanuki boy captivated him—perhaps it was his carefree energy, or the way he seemed at home in the wild.
Before Marrow could speak, Tama noticed him and, without hesitation, offered him a freshly cooked fish. In that moment, for the first time in his life, Marrow felt truly seen, not for his skills, his family name, or his wealth—just as himself.
