Who is Everest Thoricdottir?
Everest Thoricdottir is one of the recurring characters in Steele n Friends. Hailing from the Paw Patrol universe. Everest is a Siberian Husky first encounter by Jake in the season 2 episode "New Pup." Everest has since then been a recurring character in the Paw Patrol series.

Steele n Friends Everest while retaining some personality from her Paw Patrol source Material also has some Norse traits to her. Steele n Friends's Everest belongs to a sub-breed of Siberian Huskies known as the Issgord Huskies. They are renowned for their icy blood that allows them to thrive in their frozen hell, Issgord.

They are also known for their purple and white fur similar to Dixie's breed, the Twilight Pomeranian. But This essay is focused on Everest Thoricdottir.

---------
History
She was born on May 5th, 2004 to Grita and Thoric. She's also the youngest pup behind Ubbric Thoricsson and Leif Thoricsson. She was born in Kjrimfelki at the Bi-cell Memorial Hospital on a cold blizzard morning.

She was somewhat considered level-headed but hesitant in occasional situations. She was five years old when she came across an Issgordic Titanoboa and although her father's friend Hrunar slew the wyrm, Everest would grow a fear of snakes of all types. This intensified when she and her cousins witnessed a baby blue whale being devoured by an avatar of Jormungandr at age eight.

Throughout her childhood, She like all Issgord husky puppies were indoctrinated into the lifestyle of Issgord. She would be taught how to smith using Issgordic ice. Taught how to hunt the great monsters that roam Issgord and Antarctica as a whole from Albino Penguins to Frost Jotuns and the Eldritch Ningen.

She would train in using swords, Bows, and even firearms to fight against the hostile monsters but she also got the typical education such as Mathematics, Science, writing, and of course History. She wrote to her father every day while he fought against Axefang Forces that attempted to conquer Issgord and the Deep Ones who built the city of Y'ha-gom-loa.

At age nine, Everest crafted her first Issgordic Dagger to skinned a penguin. She would do so but that didn't mean she would be happy about it. It hurts her to kill it but it was mandatory to prepare her for the outside world. To survive in her environment, to kill or be killed mentality the Issgord Huskies (as well as other Cynoeas) have.

Everest would spend her life training to endure the harshness of Issgord. By eleven she would become desensitized to killing to the point of not being bothered by it.

As with all Issgord juveniles, at fifteen years old, Everest would prove her womanhood by killing a monster of her choosing. She travels to Ulriah to slay the Shogoth named the Black Beast. She used fire to kill it and took some of its ooze as proof that she had killed the monster.

She would not only achieve womanhood but also be touted as a hero of Ulriah. but it wouldn't be over for her. At age seventeen she would graduate high school and be enlisted for patrol by Hersir Skar Strutbyorn. She would patrol the outskirts of her hometown and help fend off against attacking terrorists and monsters alike. At age eighteen she would encounter a human for the first time named Jake. A (at the time) Global Paranormal Investigation Agent who was on an expedition to the mountains of Madness.

She allows him to stay over at her home until the next morning when they along with Thoric return to Lake Midfjord when the nemesis of Thoric comes. Gerlintr the Frost wyvern, Thoric would fight this beast one last time as during the middle of the fight Thoric would be critically injured from Gerlintr's bite. Everest would slew the wyvern but her father would die due to large amounts of blood lost. As Jake was picked up by his expedition team Everes stayed alone until her father's friend Hrunar arrived and discovered the corpse of his friend.

They held a funeral service for Thoric, Everest would obtain ownership of the family heirloom Thordryn. Thoric's Issgord Longsword that she used to cut the wyvern's head off with. When she was twenty years old, she was shipped to Nome during the middle of the Second Diphtheria Crisis as an auxiliary. She helped her new friend Skye in escorting Zulis squad in fighting against Dominian forces.

Even as Sylvie and Dixie left military life, Everest and Skye remained for nine more years. They would be shipped to Siptah for about eight years where She would meet a Dalmatian named Marshall Lasser. He was sent here for an expedition by the council of mages from his home, the Fell Isles. An Island off the coast and between Italy and Croatia hidden from the public by Global Paranormal agents.

In their time at Siptah, Everest, and Marshall would form a bond together with her stoic nature and his clumsy and whimsical nature would glue their kinship. By 3036 on July 6th, Everest and Marshall would retire from military life and move in together in Omigard. She would get a job as a cop in the Omigard Police Department and Marshall would work as a firefighter.

They would spend more time together when they didn't work to the point that she grew romantic feelings towards him even when she felt incompetent to show him her true feelings. She represses any romantic thoughts for the longest time to the point of getting defensive towards anyone who shows interest in dating the Dalmatian.  That leaves with the current events of the Grfiter where a former Axefang soldier Gasket, A Siberian Husky who recently moved next door to Everest and Marshall.

With Gasket showing attraction for Marshall along with a connection to Axefang and Volkerh, Everest shows distrust for Gasket. But that's a story for another Lore essay.

----------
Appearance
Everest is a Issgord Husky. Standing about 5'8ft tall and weighing about 185.0 ibs. She has lavender and white color thick fur and Blue eyes and barely visible scars from her various battles in both her time in war and fights against Monsters in her youth.

While her clothing varies on story and situation, The colors of her clothes are consistent with orange, teal, and white but yet the one thing she is constantly wearing is her knit hat that's also orange, teal, and white. It's her old hat she had at eighteen years old.

Thordryn
Her sword, Thordryn is the family Heirloom weapon that Thoric one possesses however the Longsword itself actually dates back to nineteen-forty. Forge by Everest's Great-great grandfather during World War 2. The Nazis and their Waffen-SS came to Issgord in search of the Mountains of Madness and a gateway to Yuggoth. The 22nd Likenfaust division were the Germans who sought out the Mountains and yet these Germans were met with heavy resistance with the Issgord Huskies.

Fulgor the Exalted, Everest's ancient Grandparent is the creator of Thordryn and with that longsword, he slew Svendorf Klarmer. The SS Officer who oversees the Division died in the raid of Valient Angle, Svendorf's Bismarck-class battleship. No German survived the raid as they all were killed off or enslaved by the Issgord Huskies. Fulgor would brand his sword as Thordryn would be passed down from generation to Generation and eventually would be in the care of Everest.

Thordryn itself is an Issgordic Longsword. The Double edge blade along with the hilt and pummel are made from hardened Issgord ice. Supernatural ice that is hard enough to never melt regardless of temperature. The blade has runes engraved on it that go upwards and the hilt and Pummel also have runes engraved. The handle is made from stone with leather from albino penguin skin wrapped around it. It is also one of the few swords to be blessed by the Aesir god Ullr when Fulgor baptized the blade in the water of Lake Midfjord.

God
Ullr is the Norse god of Winter and Snow. He is Everest's patron god. Ullr is the son of Sif and stepson of Thor in real-world Norse Mythology. It is said that Ullr shaped the ancient Huskies into the modern Issgord Huskies when they drank the waters of ancient Issgord during the Age of Acheron over 54 million years ago. It was from drinking the waters of Issgord that gave them the ability to thrive in the frozen wasteland and it is Ullr that blessed the waters according to their folklore.

Conclusion
Even Though Steele n Friends (and to an extent Unseen Primal) primarily focus on the side cast from Amblination's Balto. This series (as well as Unseen Primal) has its share of characters from different series and Everest comes from the Paw Patrol universe. Albeit she's portrayed in a different light here as being a warrior vet from a frozen hell and whose lineage dates back to a time long before recorded history. Like Dixie and others in Omigard, Everest is flawed. Brash, stubborn, and over-defensive yet She's valiant and stoic in the Nordic City where she calls home.

Lost
Steele Lore (Steele n Friends)
"Ice and snow, I'm ready to roll" -Everest, Paw Patrol.

This lore essay goes over Everest Thoricdottir. An Issgord husky whose icy blood keeps her warm in the coldest of climates. From her youth in the frozen Hell to her situation with Gasket.

All criticisms are welcome and thank you for taking the time to read through this.
