"Help from below"

The lizard had made a mistake swimming this far out. Getting increasingly scared as he got more and more exhausted, he kept swimming in the direction of the shore, but he already knew he'd never make it. He was increasingly having trouble keeping his mouth above the water... Eventually he accidentally sucked in some water, and he panicked, flailing in a last desperate attempt to not go under-

Then, he felt something rise up beneath him, giving him something to stand on. Panting, he looked down... A whale had come up to help him! They rose enough for the lizard to sit safely, which he did, calming down and catching his breath as the friendly whale started swimming toward the shore with him on their back.
