Yeah, I've absolutely got a heart somewhere in that lewd-ed muddled mess of me, and it's big! I'm a 100% verified softy.
There have been so many couples before these two...there have been so many after these two...and there always WILL be...but man. Maybe it's because of when I was born/growing up. Maybe it was because of how widely their popularity resonates even three decades later. Maybe it was because of that fucking LOOK... But...I always considered Simba and Nala to be the original Disney power couple.
Sure, other couples may have had a powerful love dynamic. Of course there were stronger relationships. And yeah, there's a good chance that one of the Disney couples banged before they did. But Kiara's birth really meant something! (at least to me, it did.) Anyway, Simba and Nala really struck a resonant chord with me and they went through so much together—both canonically in the movie, and SO much through the amazing incredible and unforgettable fanfiction and art that literally thousands have made of these two.
So yeah, that's special to me!
Here we have our beautiful King and Queen, in the simplest of poses, years later still in so much love. So much warmth. So much Intimacy.
