Ya know, I always question this in non-con vore stories- "Well why don't they just claw/bite themselves out?" And it's either because "Oh, because the stomach acid is practically lava and kills them too fast-" Or "The Vorer's stomach is completely indestructible. Magically."

It's more that their claws usually get covered in slime making friction hard to claw their way out. That along with limited air and time depending on how the predator's digestion works. It is also probably cramped inside so being able to apply enough force to burst out between muscle and fat could be a challenge, like even if they did escape the actual stomach there's still the belly itself in the way so they could drown in blood if they don't hurry. If the predator is smart and is aware that the prey can potentially escape, then it's better to just burp out their air immediately.
That's my take on it at least, but I'm sure several factors apply. It's all dumb fun anyway, so whatever the story wants to happen can happen.
