The Nene, Hawaii's state bird is the rarest goose in the world. They had reached a population of only 30 animals before breeding programs brought their numbers back up into the low thousands. I really liked this animal, and

was holding a stream in order to help pay for rent. I decided to throw my two cents into the ring and this lovely fellow was the result. Now I need to save up the cash in order to get another island scene done with these fellows. :)
