Cody serves as a fulltime agent for Facilitator Darkwitt. Working on various odds and ends from internal affairs to field work. He frequently works in master's facilities maintaining healthy working conditions and morale.
When Cody is sent out into the field, it is typically to assess field agents, maintain triggers and programming in sleepers, or to scout shadow projects in public fronts. Previously, he was offered assignment for infiltration ops, but has since been delisted from said operations (see File Incident R-01). Cody is noted as a dedicated and caring member of the Family, happy to help out others and lend a listening ear. Sometimes to his own detriment. When not working directly with/for the Family, Cody is stationed either as a sort of Recruiter as different clubs and bars, or employed at a local game store near his current station. Cody is also noted as a special interest case in the Family's connections to Menat Labs (See Incident M-680).
He has rarely been given missions requiring combat, though some infiltrations have required combat.. more often than not he has been recalled because of a conflict of interests with other facilitator projects. The largest contributor to his success is his symbiotic thermium augmentation. allowing him to lightly modify his height, and phyiscal appearances beyond holoproxy protocol.
Labrat volunteer Cody Avalon was found in Protoype lab J-15 performing an unauthorized augmentation. Lab J-15's function is for undeclared or hidden cybernetic and chemical experiments occluded from staff due to the high theft rate (they keep wanting to use the newest inventions before testing). Despite repeated warnings during his time as my assistant on other experiments, Cody has installed Protype A9 into the base of his brain stem and along his spine. Surgical scarring in minimal, but augmentation did not have any safe method for removal. Bun's stuck with this for the rest of his life.

The Drive is an advanced form of adrenal suite that provides an intense burst of energy in the cerebellum, amygdala, and pituitary gland. Initial tests were designed for an enhancement for non cybernetic staff that would allow nearly anyone to defend themselves in emergencies. In said scenarios, the augments activate Overclock. During Overclock, The subject completely dissociates and is entirely working on flight/fight responses. Prioritizing protecting critical assets, or more often, escape. Early simulations have shown the implant would permit combat capabilities on par with Grade 3 metahumans: Danger precognition, a loaded suite of combat protocols, and a massive boost in speed and reaction time. However, the load on the spine and adrenal glands have a compounding detriment to the circulatory system as well as the prefrontal cortex. Prioritizing extraction and escape over all else. The safe load for using overclock mode on the ACTEON DRIVE is approximately 3 minutes. Requirements for this mode's release are under strict supervision. Cody has shown a reasonable capacity to handle the ACTEON DRIVE. But Master Darkwitt has restricted use to only extreme emergencies.
----- Cody has been with me for almost as long as I have been Darkwitt. The times we've had, I've cherished immensely. Thanks to him, I was introduced to quite a few people in my life, and he helped me better understand what I was seeking out in all of this.
