Floatzel is one of Sinnoh's chosen Pokemorphs alongside Lucario, Infernape,
Glameow, Lopunny, Luxray, Hippowdon, Staraptor, Leafeon, Glaceon, Shaymin
and the others, summoned by Dialga and Palkia, under the great Arcues' command.
Born in Pastoria City as Buizel, he was raised under Crasher Wake, one of the Gym
Leaders of Sinnoh, and eventually evolved into Floatzel, thus becoming the pride of
Pastoria and is presented the symbol of a Fen badge, one of the Sinnoh gym badges.
He is known for his water-based attacks and aquatic abilities such as surfing and
wave-riding, with his Water type moves such as Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Water Pulse at his
disposal, and he had developed his Ice type attacks such as Ice Beam, Ice Punch and
Ice Fang after he went to great lengths surfing and swimming across the arctic areas.
