There were many people who helped me with language at some point, but Ceris and Krayton reached out to me pretty early and offered their help without expecting anything in return. They were patient going through my sketches, while trying to figure out what my characters say, and they corrected the typos and grammar mistakes I made, and even offered options many times to make the comic look more fluent. Also, they weren't upset (or just didn't tell me :D ) when I made a new typo while fixing one they spotted, or when I rewrote the whole page they put their effort into. But most importantly even that they have their own preferences, they didn't forced me to bend the story as they wanted to, but instead let me go on my own way while still providing help.
So thank you two a lot!
Thanks a lot for everyone who decided to support me, and bought me a coffee or two over the years. I don't want to post a list of nicknames, but if you are among those 23 people, be proud of yourself not because you supported me specifically, but because you supported the creation of something that brought joy hopefully not only to you, but many many more people.
Also thanks for everyone's comments, constructive criticism, private messages, watches, favorites, likes and everything else. These mean a lot to me and boosted my self confidence by a lot when I was down. Even if I didn't answered to all of them, I read them all and sometimes those really made my day.
Future plans: I have multiple ideas about how to continue... maybe already too much ideas. :D But I will definitely take some time to care about different stuff, and get busy with other things. Perhaps there will be some simple stuff I'll post but don't expect anything like this comic for a while. Maybe one day a big journey will start again, until then take care and I wish you the best!
Congratulations ConfusedRaven on completing this tremendous project. It was incredibly ambitious taking on something this size. Been in this community for over a decade and I’ve seen countless comics abandoned over the years after a dozen or so pages, and yet you’ve persevered all the way through to the end. I know you’ve had to take a few breaks (understandable) but you never gave up. Well done.
The story of Dave, Jay and Sam is one of the absolute best and it’s been a fun adventure to follow these past three years. Thank you for all the effort you put into it. It’s also been great to see your evolution as an artist. Can’t wait to see what you do next, whether it’s continuing this story, or something completely new.

⟩:ᴗD it - was - great, really. watching you grow as an artist and a writer doing this, greatly enjoying how you are able to have multiple levels of narration going on at the same time, from little (but not unimportant) details in the panels, to the whole mood of the story as a whole. for 162 pages. despite everything.
idiot edit: and thank you also to Ceris and Krayton for all the help given.
l'ho goduta sul serio, sei stato una roccia. se ti va, deliziaci ancora. un vecchio rompicoglioni.

If you ever do another comic, all I can say is I hope there will be the same characters, and my personal wish would be for some public stuff, or at least with the thrill of possibly being caught. Perhaps on the bus, or in a dressing booth (you know those with the curtains) :P And of course with a fun story! I think this story has been amazing.
Cheers!

Jay later went on to become a shift manager at a local chemical fertilizer plant where he helped oversee the loading and unloading of phosgene tanks. He lived to the ripe old age of 37 with his partner Dave until he was sprayed with a lethal dose of phosgene gas from a bust PTFE tube that happened as a result of not following proper epa recommend safety and maintenance procedures. Jays partner and family settled for an undisclosed amount with bell chemicals and Dave was last seen in Fiji in the company of a male deer cub. Dave incidentally now goes by the name Jamaica. Dave currently resides on a yacht where he runs a lucrative snack business selling knockoff Cheetos. He is currently under investigation for copyright violations and possible trafficing charges. He faces multiple lawsuits in the US for illegal distribution of counterfeit chips.

I have loved the story and your work throughout this comic set. I understand your designer to take a break, and will look forward to if you ever decide to engage in another story like this.
Thank you for all your hard and thoughtful work. I know that I like many others rarely show up in the comments, so I just want to speak out at least here and say that this has really been an absolute pleasure watch unfold and always brought me joy and excitement whenever your work showed up in my feed.

The story began with Dave, who literally had to be dragged out of his room. He slowly lost his shyness and, after a few adventures and arguments, gained Jay as a friend. Latter also had something to learn, that sex isn't everything but respect and attention for boundaries are part of a relationship. A nice idea to end the story with the second part of the new relationship. Like a book whose cover consists of two parts. It's also nice to see how Jay has changed and is for the first time in his life insecure in a relationship.
However, the two of them didn't do it alone. There was someone who kept encouraging Dave. Someone who forced Jay and Dave to settle their dispute. Someone who helped both friends to get and stay in a relationship. Someone who helped Dave to become a self-confident partner and Jay to no longer be alone with his sexuality.
What about Sam himself? He continues to live on this nudist beach. Had sex once now, but no girl is allowed to have anything to do with him. That's life. You can help others, but you don't necessarily get anything in return. Nothing is fair. Still, I would have liked to see at least two or three panels about how Sam is dealing with being worse off now than he was before.

I don't think Sam is worse then before. He and Jay are classmates, and probably will meet soon again. Also, that last part of the comic supposed to bring some fun for him, and mostly happened only because of him. Jay and Dave was involved only because he needed help to get in the party, and also as a reciprocate for getting them along. Maybe he would have earned more panels or pages at the end, even he wasn't a real protagonist in this story, but had a very important role.

Before that, Sam and Jay were best friends. But now Jay is in love with Dave. So Sam is going to take a bit of a back seat.
Yes, Sam is just a supporting character. But the scene with the two women at the party and his story about how he always has to stay alone because he lives in this camp gave the character a lot of depth. At that point, congratulations for this twist of realism.
Wouldn't that be an idea for a sequel? Sam and how he can shake off the prejudice. Just a suggestion. :-)
